Privacy Policy

How information is used for your account, charts, payments, and newsletter.

What this policy covers

The Intraday LLC operates The Intraday and is responsible for the handling of personal information described in this policy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the website, create an account, save chart work, purchase Pro, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us.

Information we process

  • Account information. Your email address, account identifier, sign-in provider, sign-in activity, and profile settings such as display name, profile image, time zone, and appearance. If you use Google sign-in, account information is supplied through that sign-in flow.
  • Saved chart work. Workspaces, charts, drawings, indicator settings, watchlists, comparison sets, metric presets, and views you save, together with the identifiers and version information needed to store and sync them.
  • Billing information. Stripe customer, subscription, checkout, and price identifiers, subscription status, and billing-period information associated with your account. You provide payment details to Stripe’s checkout and billing portal.
  • Newsletter information. Your email address, subscription preferences, and campaign information supplied with a signup, such as a referring site or campaign label. The newsletter provider also processes delivery and engagement information according to the publication settings.
  • Usage and technical information. Page views, referring pages, device and browser information, approximate location, and selected product interactions, such as opening pricing or choosing a plan. Hosting and service providers may also process request and diagnostic information needed to deliver and maintain the service. When you use streaming charts, our streaming infrastructure also processes connection information and the symbols and intervals you request to deliver those updates.
  • Messages you send us. The contact details and content you include in a support or privacy request.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate accounts, apply account preferences, store and sync chart work, process subscriptions, provide account and support messages, deliver a newsletter you requested, understand use of the service, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and meet applicable obligations.

Newsletter signup is separate from app signup and payment. Buying Pro does not add you to the newsletter.

Services involved

We use service providers for specific parts of The Intraday. Information is shared with them as needed for those services:

  • Supabase supports authentication, account records, and cloud storage of saved chart documents.
  • Stripe processes payments and manages subscriptions and the customer billing portal.
  • Beehiiv manages newsletter subscriptions and delivery.
  • Google Workspace delivers account emails through our authentication service, such as confirmation and password-recovery messages, and handles support email.
  • Meta receives advertising measurement events so we can measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Vercel hosts the website and provides website analytics.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosts the server that delivers streaming market data to your browser.
  • Cloudflare helps route and secure connections to that streaming service.

For information about our streaming infrastructure providers, see AWS’s data privacy information and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Provider policies describe their own handling of information: Supabase, Stripe, Beehiiv, Resend, Google, Vercel, and Meta. Providers may process information in countries other than where you live.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably needed to address fraud, security issues, or the rights of users and the service.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses authentication cookies to maintain your session and a cookie to remember your last sign-in method. Browser storage also holds chart work and preferences such as the selected theme.

You can control cookies and site storage through your browser. Blocking or clearing them may sign you out, reset preferences, or remove chart work stored only in that browser.

Vercel Web Analytics measures page views and selected product interactions. Its analytics method uses a short-lived request-derived identifier rather than third-party analytics cookies. See Vercel’s analytics privacy explanation for details.

Our first-party conversion report uses a signed random browser identifier for up to 30 days. It records page paths, referring website names and campaign labels, and connects the original source to your account creation, checkout and confirmed subscription payments. It does not store full referring URLs, IP addresses, or browser fingerprints in the conversion tables. See analytics choices to opt out.

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, they stay off until you select Allow advertising measurement. Everywhere else they are on by default, and you can opt out at any time with the button below, which is our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information control. Opting out or declining does not limit access to the service. On our pages the pixel sets the _fbp cookie, and _fbc when you arrive from a Meta ad, and sends page views to Meta. Our server also sends Meta a small set of events: newsletter signup, account creation, starting checkout and a first subscription payment. Those events include your email address and account ID converted to one-way hashes, and for website events your IP address and browser information, so Meta can match them to ad activity. Meta processes this under its own privacy policy. We use the country your connection comes from to decide which of these applies. We remember an Allow or opt-out choice in the intraday_meta_consent cookie for up to 180 days. We keep a record with the policy version, the time measurement began, its expiry and any withdrawal time; when you sign in, or start checkout while measured by default, we associate that record with your account so server payment events and other devices respect your choice. Cookie expiry does not itself delete the record. You can opt out below or on our Cookies page. Opting out stops future sending; it does not recall information already sent to Meta. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and the analytics opt-out turn measurement off too.

Your choices and requests

You can update available profile settings in your account, manage Pro in Account → Plan, and unsubscribe from the newsletter using a link in a newsletter email.

Sign in and download account data to get a copy of your profile, preferences, cloud-saved chart work and fundamentals research, and subscription status. For information beyond this export, or to request access, correction, or deletion, contact us. Include the email address associated with the relevant account or subscription and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the ability to object to or restrict processing or complain to a privacy regulator. We evaluate requests under applicable law. Privacy requests do not require a paid plan.

Retention

How long information is retained depends on its purpose and category, including account operation, saved chart work, subscription administration, support, security, and legal obligations. Ending Pro does not itself delete your account or previously saved cloud documents.

The 30-day browser attribution window described above limits how long that browser identifier is used to connect visits with conversions; it is not a deletion schedule for account, billing, or conversion records.

For a request about stored information or account deletion, contact us. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve a billing dispute.

Updates and contact

We will update this page when our practices change. The date above identifies the current version. For questions about this policy or a privacy request, use our contact page or write to:
