About The Intraday

Company fundamentals, price history, and the tools to explore them.

How to read financials

Start with the income statement: revenue measures sales, operating income subtracts operating costs, and net income includes further expenses and income. Compare the same fiscal periods, and distinguish annual figures from quarterly results.

The balance sheet is a snapshot at a specific date. Compare cash, debt, other assets, and liabilities together. The cash flow statement tracks cash generated and used during a period; profit and cash flow can differ.

Use margins to compare profitability relative to revenue. Check the currency, period, and original filing before comparing companies. Missing values do not mean zero.

Data sources & methodology

Company fundamentals draw on SEC filings, with provider data used where available. Price data is supplied by market-data providers. Coverage, reporting dates, and update schedules vary by company and metric.

The homepage market strip shows percentage changes from the previous close. The four benchmark entries represent the SPY, QQQ, DIA, and IWM ETFs, rather than direct index quotes. The retrieval time is available on hover; retrieval does not mean a new trade has occurred.

Financial charts preserve fiscal reporting periods. Ratios depend on their underlying inputs, and restatements can change historical figures. Consult original company filings and our data limitations when checking a figure.

A clearer view of a business

The Intraday brings company fundamentals and price charts into a workspace for investment research. Explore revenue, margins, cash flow, and other available metrics over time, compare companies, and add your own chart work.

Our aim is to make financial history easier to inspect and understand. A chart can help you form a question or notice a pattern; it is still important to check the underlying information.
